Ueber Weihnachten habe ich 11 Tage bei einer kamboschanischen Familie (Familie mit drei Kindern plus Eltern und Geschwister der Ehefrau) auf dem Lande in der Naehe von Siem Reap verbracht. Wowohl ich nur drei Woerter Khmer sprach und nur eine Person von 16 Familienmitglieder englisch sprach, war es eine tolle Zeit. In diesen 11 Tagen habe ich mehr asiatische Kultur erlebt als in den letzten zwei Monaten. Vielen Dank noch mal an die ganze Familie, Warth (Vater meiner Gastfamilie) der mich betreut und immer fleissig uebersetzt hat und an Tanja (Bayon Garden Guesthouse Siem Reap) welche mir das Homestays vermittelte.

In the last 11 days I lived together with a Cambodia Family (parents with three kids and the wifes family) at the countryside of Siem Reap. I spoke just three words Khmer and one member of 16 spokes english, but it was a great time. I saw more about asia culture than the last two month. Thanks very much to all family members, Warth (Guest father) how supported me and translated so much and to Tanja (Bayon Garden Guesthouse Siem Reap) how organized the homestays for me.
