Nach 33 Stunden Zugfahrt bin ich heute morgen um 4:30 Uhr in Hanoi angekommen. Das Bett im Schlafwagen war sauber und bequem allerdings konnte ich bei dem Geschaukel zwei Naechte kaum schlafen. Die Zugfahrt war trotz der Widrigkeiten sehr schoen. Insbesondere bei Tag konnte ich viel von der Landschaft Zentralvietnams sehen. Am interessantesten war die Auffahrt zum Wolkenpass zwischen Da Nang und Hue. Dieser ist die Wetterscheide zwischen dem tropischen Sueden und dem subtropischen Norden Vietnams.

After 33 hours I arrived at 4:30 a.m. Hanoi. The bed in the sleeper waggon was clean and comfortable but I could not sleep because of the joggling from the train. But never the less the trip was very nice. At the day time I saw many about the landscape of Central Vietnam. The most interesting was the drive-up to Deo Hai Van between Da Nang and Hue.
